It has been a pretty good December thus far for wind and a great one for waves.  This past week saw a couple of really strong wind days.  4m kite days for a couple of us little guys.  This weekend seems like a wash for wind but the swells are pumping.  The ASP World Tour crowned a new world champion at Pipe Masters.  Around here we careless about the ball sports; instead, our attention is glued to the surfing world tour events.  This island gets busy this time a year.  We actually have a little afternoon traffic heading towards Haiku from Kahului.  Understandable that everyone is on the road with island gas prices down to $2.85/gallon.  Makes me want to go on a surfing/kitesurfing safari.  No wind means get out and surf.  Time to go play.  Aloha!
