EASY RATE PLAN
Lessons are one flat per hour rate, pay as you go. This keeps things simple and easy. You only pay for the time we do. Don’t get sucked into a package rate deal and end up eating the costs on time you didn’t complete.
TWO-WAY HEADSET COMMUNICATION
I use two-way bluetooth headset communicate with you when you’re out on the water. This provides you with instant feedback so you can progress faster. It also allows you to ask and answer questions without trying to yell about the wind. This is also a safer teaching practice because I can easily walk you through your troubles calmly and quickly. Instructors that don’t use them are not professional instructors.
WHAT’S YOUR KITEBOARDING SKILL LEVEL?
Whether you’re a complete newbie to the sport of kiteboarding or have taken a couple lessons a decade ago you probably fall into this category. Things have changed since the dangerous old days of kiteboarding. That being said in a couple hours of instruction you will level up no problem. Everyone! no matter what your skill level is should always take it back to the basics everyone once in awhile especially when it comes to safety.
Intermediates seem to be the biggest portion of you out there looking for kiteboarding lessons. You are students learning to upwind body drag (beginners its not a bad as it sounds), water-start (the hardest part of learning to kiteboarding), and/or ride upwind. This level is the hardest and takes the longest to break out of. I am here to make your lessons effective, safe, and efficient as possible. If you ride out the frustration that can come along with learning to kiteboard, I promise the effort and struggle is worth the end rewards!
You have learned to ride upwind and have broken out of the intermediate level. Now it is time to finish the job and learn the really fun stuff! We can teach you to do smooth planing direction changes, self launching and landing, jumps and tricks. The sky is no longer the limit!
Waves are so much fun! Just ask a surfer. It is even more fun kiting Maui’s awesome waves on a surfboard. Once you have mastered the twintip lets take your kiteboarding to the next level. Strapped or Strapless, directional boards tend to be smoother in the choppy water and so much fun in the waves.
