When you’re ready to trade in the twintip for a surfboard come find me on the North Shore.  The North Shore summer is for strong winds and big air style on the twintip.  Winter changes all of that.  The waveless summer turns into a whitewater playground.  Whether you plan to ride strapped or strapless there is so much fun ahead of you.  Trashing the surf powered by a kite is what makes Maui’s winters so epic.

Changing from a twin tip to a surfboard is not too difficult but taking a lesson or two can surly speed things along.  It is a new challenge that has so many rewards especially when you take your new skill to the waves.  The hardest part is learning to gybe/tack (turn).  Once you got that down you are ready to take things to the next level of fun!

Hydrofoiling is taking over many different types of watersports and kitefoiling really got the ball rolling.  I have been kitefoiling for about 6 years now and learned the hard way, but have developed a teaching method so you can learn to hydrofoil the easy way.  Don’t get me wrong kitefoiling is difficult and will make you feel like your a beginner all over again, but the rewards are amazing.  The distance you can cover on a hydrofoil is incredible and hydrofoils allow you to fly a much much smaller kite with less pull which is easier on the body.  Come take a foil lesson with me, I have taught a bunch of people to foil, many learned to ride upwind on their first day.

Strapless Big Air!
