DRESS CODE
You should bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. If you want to wear sunglasses in the water it is recommended you wear a pair you wouldn’t miss if you lose them. I have lost too many pairs to count and have learned it’s not a bad idea to get a floating sunglasses tether or a pair of Sea Specs.
Most of the year a wetsuit is not necessary but they can help keep you warm to counteract prolonged exposure to strong winds on cloudy cold days. If you get cold easily or here during the winter months I recommend a 2mm shorty wetsuit or wetsuit top.
Some students prefer to wear watershoes/booties to protect their feet from rocks and the coral reef. It is not required as most students and local kiters do not wear them; however if you worry about cutting your feet please bring a pair to wear or let me know ahead of time so I can bring you a pair.

KITEBOARDING LESSON GEAR INCLUDED
I provide all the equipment necessary for your lessons including kites, boards, harnesses, safety leashes, helmets, and impact jackets. Helmets are required for all lessons. I teach on the latest Duotone Kiteboarding Neos.
PERSONAL KITEBOARDING GEAR
Many students have their own kiteboarding gear and we highly encourage students to use their own gear during their lesson so they can become more familiar with their safety systems, kite flying characteristic, board and harness feel, etc. Always try to wear your own harness if you brought it with you.
Your Maui Quiver: Most peoples everyday kite in Maui is a 6-8m. Smaller kiters might be on 4m or 5m kites on stronger wind days. That being said we always recommend you bring your whole quiver! Maui is known for its strong winds but there are many days when bigger kites are needed.
LESSON TIMES
Most lessons start at 11:00am or 2:00pm depending on the weather. I strive to put my students out in the best conditions for learning.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Canceling within 24-hours of a scheduled lesson or a no-show will result in a 100% charge.
