After a dismal February the wind has finally come back to play. In Maui the summer is our main season. Even spring and fall are normally better then most locations around the world. Winter on the other hand is the off season. Hit or miss. Epic or nothing. December can be so fun with wind and great surf but can be terrible too. This January was okay for wind but there was just so much rain. Bring your wetsuit, it gets cold. This February there was no wind for lessons on the north shore. Some foilers got there time in and I kited a bunch in Wailea but it’s a little offshore and gusty so not good for beginners.
