It’s been interesting.  I don’t do these blog posts often but I checked my site the other day and saw it has been about a year so why not.  Covid-19 has been pretty interesting for Maui.  It kind of shut the entire island down to tourist with a mandatory 2 week quarantine.  For months and months the hotels have been closed, the beaches are less crowded, and restaurants are basically struggling to get by.  But if you live here on the island and don’t depend solely on tourism dollars then it’s a really great time to be here.  Luckily at the moment I can teach.  It was really disheartening when I couldn’t.  I enjoy it too much.  The kite beach has been less crowded then previous summers and the winds have been nice, so no real complaints from me.  I am forward to wave season plus the sun has been brutally strong this summer.  That’s all from me now.  I’ve been posting more on Instagram lately because I got a new GoPro and have been trying to put it to good use filming friends.  Aloha.
